Kikusui Electronic Corporation's PLZ6000R aims to reduce this waste. As industrial load testing is done on bulk- producing less heat means requiring less cooling. One use of the regenerative DC electronic load device is to test the electrical output of car alternators and hence if 10 to 20 cars are being tested simultaneously, huge amounts of energy can be saved.
