Officers using public resources for campaigns warned

The office of the Ombudsman wants action taken against candidates who use public resources to campaign. In an advisory to the public, the commission on Administrative justice is proposing disqualification of such candidates among other measures, to stem misuse of public funds.  Ken Mijungu reports that enforcing compliance is however a tricky issue, since a thin line separates stately duties and political activities.
