At Port Lympne wild animal park we have five of the very rare Brown Hyena. There are only nineteen registered in parks all over the globe. That means we have over 25% of the worlds captive population. With only around 10,000 left in the wild we need to do everything we can to protect this amazing species. This footage was taken during a Port Lympne sunset safari. This gives one of the best chances to see the elusive Hyenas. More information can be found at http://www.aspinallfoundation.org/portlympne/functions-and-events/view/298/Family-Sunset-Safari-and-BBQ---12th-August Try and catch a glimpse on the special event taking place on 12th August 2010 or on other Sunset Safaris taking place Tuesdays and Thursdays; from July to 16th September 2010 (subject to availability).
