RCA Victor transistor radio

Here's an RCA Victor AM battery operated transistor radio from 1957. This one uses an oddball 9V battery that is NLA; so, I'll need to modify the radio to use a modern battery. The radio will receive stations at the upper end of the dial; but, not at the lower end. I suspect either a failing oscillator transistor or bad capacitors.
