http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Must say that Ubud had to be my favorite place in Bali. Only one day here and we set off running. Ian led us on a short introductory walking tour from our hotel to the Royal Palace and past into the rice fields. WARNING: Watch your step on the "sidewalks." Big holes, gaps, ups and downs - so easy to break a leg. Past the Monkey Forest to the Royal Palace where we left the group to do a little private touring. Been...and done...rice fields...
