Chinese people love this vegetable as it's easily grown and harvested and pretty cheap.  Traditionally it's prepared with beef mixed with shrimp paste or fermented bean curd.  For some, the smell or taste of the shrimp paste or fermented bean curd might be too much but that is what makes this dish exciting and tasty.  Enjoy the video!
