V. Rama Jayanthi, MD, named Chief of Pediatric Urology at Nationwide Children's Hospital in April 2012, discusses what it means to be a leading national program, as well as his vision for the future. 

Pediatric Urology at Nationwide Children's is ranked by U.S.News & World Report among the top 15 programs in the country. The program provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of urological disorders in children of all ages and teens. Advanced services include reconstructive surgery as well as consultations for urinary tract abnormalities detected in utero.

In addition to his role at Nationwide Children's, Dr. Jayanthi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Urology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
