Note: We got so into playing that our progress has far exceeded our episodes. I will keep them coming out (nearly daily) until we are caught up...

In this episode we have lots of fun with Buildcraft as Nilorio and I set up our first quarry. This device is just too cool and is definitely a game-changer regarding resources (and resource management in the very near future.) And we don't start small because we set it to the maximum size. Let the blocks flow in...

Our seed is "Newtopia FTB LP" because our overarching theme is to build a super high tech minecraft utopia that complements the biomes, rather than a beastly industrial landscape.

The theme music for this series is One-Eyed Maestro by Kevin MacLeod on Incompetech.com. He describes it as music to make skeletons dance.

The thread for this series on the MinecraftForum is here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1592652-monkeywrenching-the-beast-a-feed-the-beast-lets-play/

From the website:
Feed the Beast is a modpack for the game Minecraft. It adds a huge number of items, recipes and world-generation to the game, and is used in the YouTube series "Feed the Beast." The modpack centers on several famous mods such as IndustrialCraft and BuildCraft but the full list is extensive. All of the mods in the pack have been approved by the modders to be included.
