Before anybody points out the obvious: yes, I know I can't ride on the freeway with a velomobile.

Now, having said that: in this video you can see me enter the freeway and exit it half a mile later. It's more like an on-ramp combined with the next exit's off-ramp I'm riding on really... What's more, the speed there is limited to 80 kph, and it's so steep my Quest has no trouble reaching that speed and keeping up with traffic on gravity alone. In fact, I've had to ride the brakes to avoid going any faster.

Why did I ride there? To avoid the officially sanctioned alternate route for bicycles, which can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Osk9xIMhAs : that stupid cycle path is dangerous, forcing you to cut across a busy roundabout against traffic, snaking under the overpass in a cutthroat area you wouldn't want to be caught fixing a flat in, and taking over 5 minutes of useless maneuvering to get to the exact same spot that straight, simple bit of slipway gets to in about a minute. Either that or you have to navigate the local streets, which is even slower (as seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COathnmDWj8)

So, not all that legal, but oh-so-convenient in a velomobile :)
