A commentary on, of all things, one of the worst movies ever made: "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians." This legendary and infamous science fiction movie is every bit as awful as you may have heard. Almost every commentary on this movie is sarcastic and insulting, which a great part of the film certainly deserves. And yet, there are still some moments buried within this film (deeply buried) that suggest there was a genuine effort made to present a decent story to entertain the audiences of the day. However, the slipshod production, awful dialogue, and especially the lazy and completely unfunny performance of Droppo the Martian succeed in sinking this into the bowels of film history.
