Another of Seamus Egan's brilliant creations. Our Overture from the 2008 version of a Christmas Celtic Sojourn features the usual mysterious sounding opening sequence. Cara Dillon, Sean Keane, Navan all add to the atmosphere. Two familiar Christmas Carols and a lesser known Breton song, and then the fireworks of Solas, and the dancing of Kieran Jordan and Kevin Doyle. As we look back, we are amazed at how different each opening is from the other and yet, the impact is Christmassy and strong.
