If you exit the Metro at Patronato and walk to the right out of the station, you'll be right in the center of the Textile Market; this is where to go for cheap anything. Walk to the left and you'll see the Mercado Vega Centrale with five different food and flower markets. If all that isn't enough, visit the weekend Bio Bio Flea Market in Barrio Franklin but watch your belongings and take care. A salesman warned Christian in Spanish that someone was following us. Over 20 blocks of "stuff" along sidewalks and inside buildings is available including stolen and pirated merchandise. Still lots more to do in Santiago? You bet!
