An American Jane Austen fan comes to England to find her Mr. Darcy in this frothy romantic comedy. To say that thirtysomething Jane Hayes (Keri Russell) is obsessed with Jane Austen would be an understatement. She even has a life size cardboard cut-out of Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy in her bedroom! But Jane decides to go even further. Strapping on her bonnet, she blows her savings on a visit to England and "the world's only immersive Austen experience" run by forbidding Mrs. Wattlesbrook (Jane Seymour). Her travelling companion is vulgar Elizabeth Charming (Jennifer Coolidge). Jane is determined not to return home without getting engaged to a fake Regency gent. But who will she choose - brooding, Darcy-esque Henry Nobley (JJ Feild) or handsome stable boy Martin (Bret McKenzie)? 'Napoleon Dynamite' writer Jerusha Hess makes her directorial debut with this bright and breezy adaptation of Shannon Hale's comic novel. It's produced by 'Twilight' author Stephenie Meyer.
