Dr. Irving Loh, the director of the Ventura Heart Institute, will give a talk co-sponsored by the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Dr. Loh is a board certified internist and subspecialty board certified cardiac specialist with an emphasis on preventive cardiology. He founded and directs the Ventura Heart Institute, which conducts education, research (approximately 100 clinical trials in new and novel therapies for dyslipidemias, heart failure, hypertension, anti-arrhythmics and devices), as well as in information technology and preventive cardiovascular programs.
