CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- Its kind of ironic that it s the season of giving, and most of us probably don't remember that they especially need us to give blood. In the next few days there are drives scheduled.  A lot of people are out sick, we are out shopping, taking vacations, and they do need a couple of specific blood types in our community.Dr. Ronald Sacher said, We are down, we are down on O negative and A negative.  What better gift than the gift of life and donating and helping your fellow man who is ill?  So I think that is really a wonderful motivation to sort of give.The blood you donate is promised to area hospitals based on appointments, so even if you can't donate in the next day or so, make an appointment in the next 10 days and it will still be helpful.
