Since the fire broke in the Johannesburg CBD, the use of adequate extinguishing equipment has been among the many questions raised. Emergency Services in the city have since announced even they would look into the matter. But experts say South Africa has a dire lack of firefighting skills and this is contributing to the increasing death toll, also costing the economy billions.
