CPD sergeant pleads not guilty to charges involving a gun at a Milford theater

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A Cincinnati police sergeant did not have to show up at her arraignment in Clermont County, after her arrest for allegedly having a gun at the Milford Rave Cinemas. Her attorney pleaded not guilty for Shauna Lambert.

A judge ordered a $7,500 bond for her. Lambert's attorney says she's already in an alcohol program after the Friday night incident. Police say she dropped her service weapon on the floor of the theater. Witnesses saw it happen.

Lambert was allegedly intoxicated and acting erratically. The theater was evacuated and Lambert was arrested. She is charged with using a weapon while intoxicated and inducing panic. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Lambert has been with the Cincinnati Police Department for 20 years. Her attorney says she's on desk duty. During the arraignment, the judge said no drugs, no alcohol, no contact with the movie theater and no weapon as the case moves through the court system.

The prosecutor says this isn't Lambert's first brush with the law. She was charged with OVI last year.
