Here I go again, another PhD rant while waiting to hear back from my Methodologist about chapter 3.

In the meantime, I've been listening to my mentors, PhD candidates and PhD professors from universities around the globe, who say write while you wait. Write for publication while you await feedback from your chair and committee.

They also suggest lots more reading of books, dissertations, and articles on your topic of study so you can take even more thorough, usable notes on everything you read. The mentor suggest you write your notes in a location other than on or in the text that you're reading and writing about. Use a system like note cards or edocument to gather your notes and quotes. This will help you critically analyze and digest your topic so that you can develop your own overarching theme beyond the author's theme.

When you're ready to submit your dissertation, locate a binding company to bind your final product. These are activities I am doing while I await feedback from my chair and committee.
