Wound up one coil so I gave it a test to see the voltage it can give. I used one 2 1/8" thick 3/4" round magnet mounted on a 7 inch saw blade to make the test. It gave me over 2 volts AC at about 100 rpm. I'm planning on making a 2 stator single rotor wind turbine, either horizontal or vertical. The amp output will be minimal with the small wire but I tried making stators with thicker wire and they just couldn't give me sufficient voltage.
