 This was a hit by singer Kate Smith in 1931 and by Cass Elliott (Mama Cass of The Mamas and the Papas) in 1968.  Other artists who have covered it include Louis Armstrong with Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Teresa Brewer, Nat King Cole, Ray Conniff,  Bing Crosby,  Doris Day, Mickey Dolenz, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Joni James, Diana Krall, Frankie Laine,  Henry Mancini, Dean Martin, Al Martino, Robert Mitchum, and Vaughn Monroe.   
Wally's piano solo was recorded on October 2, 2010. Great old popular songs live on in Williamston, Michigan!  Wally is now 89, and loves to play his son's restored 1878 antique rosewood upright.
