Experiment #71: Duck Sauce

(Rated PG) We all know that soy sauce in a microwave is always a good idea. Fun, safe, and easy to clean up. So logically, wouldn't duck sauce produce the same results since it's in such a tiny pack just the same? Actually, no. Duck sauce just sits there and eventually pops, apparently soy sauce is better for jetting around and producing a show while duck sauce doesn't have the right composition to heat up enough to do much but pop. So, for those of you wondering if you can substitute duck sauce for soy sauce for this cool and safe little party trick - don't. It's not that cool, it's a little messy, although it is safe. Just stick to soy sauce pouches. So, the final verdict on the items I microwaved - soy sauce: good idea, duck sauce: push, all around: push. Season 3 of Microwave Me is filmed with only the worst in state of the fart digital camcorder technology. The show stars host and producer Matthew Villani as Captain Microwave who uses a GE Dual Wave for this episode.
