Credit rating agency, Moody's says South African companies will avoid a Turkey type crisis. Moody's says adequate local funding has reduced the need for South African companies to borrow overseas, making them less vulnerable to a financial crisis. Moody's also says there is a slim chance that it may change its stable outlook for the country. The economy entered into a technical recession after registering negative growth for two consecutive quarters. Moody's held a conference on Sub-Saharan Africa in Sandton today.
