Spartan Speedway's first foray into putting on the destruction show at the Ingham Country Fairgrounds included a Rollover Contest. Each driver gets three attempts to roll their car over and earn points. You get one point for each side of the vehicle that touches (or at least points down toward) the ground. A total of 4 points are possible if you do a complete roll and land back on your wheels. In the event of a tie, as seen in this video, the tie breaker is first decided by a run off - if one car is unable to continue, the car that does make another attempt automatically gets an additional point and takes the win. This was our first attempt at a Rollover Contest and we can see that we have some adjustments to make if we ever do it again.
