Security agencies in Embu say politicians are funding illegal groups

Security agencies in Embu County have vowed to crush two illegal groupings formed by politicians to disrupt their opponent’s campaigns. 

Embu County Commissioner Esther Maina said they have discovered the existence of a gang called “chapa ilale” from Runyenjes constituency and another called “mkuki,” group from Dallas estate and are investigating the politicians said to be behind them. Maina revealed police have nabbed several individuals associated with the groups that they are probing and they will soon be charged in court.
