Designer Tatsuji Ikeda, reputed to be one of the few designers in Japan who has achieved international acclaim has exhibited his Modernism Series at the 2008 International Jewellery Tokyo. The jewellery designed by Mr.Ikeda expresses unique Japanese beauty  The Modernism Series jewelry incorporates a playful design in a modern style and can be used in casual settings.

Among the many prestigious awards he received, he was the recipient of the Diamond International Award from the only highly acclaimed jewelry contest in the world in 1984 and in 1985, he won the Diamond Design Contest　award.
