Cosatu gears up for a march against Gauteng e-tolls

The Congress of the South African Trade Unions(COSATU) in Gauteng is gearing up for a stay away in protest against e-tolls. At a media briefing on Sunday, the trade union said it's angered by Finance Minister Tito Mboweni's recent announcement that government would continue with the system. There have been a series of mixed messages on the future of the tolls. Early in 2018 Gauteng Premier David Makhura admitted that they had failed and would not be part of the province's plans. Months later Minister of Transport Blade Nzimande made it clear that a decision to scrap the system had not been made. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
