Two BNSF freight trains travel around the curves on the Moffat route

Two slow moving BNSF freight trains wind their way through the Moffat route in Colorado. Trains normally do not move this slow on this route, but much work was being done on new signaling for PTC. The wire fences on either slide of the trains are called slide fences. If large rocks crash through the fence and breaks the wires, it will give a red signal to the approaching train. It is a simple but effective method.
