Although Jesus Christ died to pay for our salvation and the forgiveness of our personal sins, he did not take sin out of the world. Since Christ’s death, our part as Christians is to receive the injustices of today’s world and not repay evil for evil. Rather, we are asked to forgive as we participate in the redemption process.

Verses: Gen. 3:4, 5, 22; Col. 1:24; Phil. 3:10; 2 Cor. 1:5; 1 Pet. 4:13; Luke 23:34; Matt. 19:29
