SPECIAL REQUEST Featuring a fast piano and brass streamline, "Over the Line," written by Patti Dahlstrom and Michael Omartian, was recorded by Johnny Rivers for his album Blue Suede Shoes released in 1973 on United Artists Records. The album featured some top L.A. session men, eg, Joe Osborn (bass), Jim Gordon (drums), Jim Horn (sax), Michael Omartian (keyboards), & Dean Parks (guitar), and is available on CD combined with his 1972 album, L.A. Reggae, on the BGO label. This was requested by my faithful subscriber, goodelady.
