The 105 documents and recordings in Outlast 2 are collected chronologically and with story progression. You can check your currently collected documents and recordings in the menu. Set the sorting order to chronologically to find specific items from the list below. 

Most documents and recordings in Outlast 2 are withing the main path of the story. Only a few will take you off track. 

Documents and Recordings are NOT MISSABLE. If you stay on one save game, you can go back to any chapter, collect items you have missed and they will still count towards the achievements / trophies. Keep in mind to stick to one save game.
