Made the rounds to the flea market and came home with a few more toys. First, I got two radios from the same vendor. One is a circa '46 Clarion painted Bakelite 5-tube AM radio. The other one is a circa '46 Watterson 5-tube wooden cased AM radio. Obviously, someone painted the case and it's going to need cabinet work; but, Watterson is an oddball brand that I don't see much of and I'm going to try to restore it. They wanted $30 for the Clarion and $20 for the Watterson; but, I got both of them for $35. Then, I picked up a small metal single speed Citation Imperial floor fan that was sold by Western Auto stores. The model number suffix tells me that it's from 1970. It needs to be cleaned and lubricated; but, I think it will live again. I was able to get that one for $10. Last, I picked up a pile of 45 rpm records for a quarter/each. I saw a high end RCA Victor AM/SW radio/78 rpm record player console from around '47. It looked nice; but, was missing the speaker and she wanted $150 for it. So, I had to leave it. She said she would negotiate on the price; but, since she wanted $150, I doubt she would have come down to the $40-$50 that I would have been willing to pay.
