British Airways, on Friday, promised to compensate customers after reporting a major hack of its website that compromised the credit card information of roughly 380,000 travellers. Its Chief Executive Officer, Alex Cruz said every customer affected will be fully reimbursed and the airline company will pay for a credit checking service. He added that the stolen information did not include travel or passport details but warned that customers should check with their banks and credit card providers for suspicious activity. British Airways revealed the hack on Thursday after the breach has been resolved and all systems are working normally.
