Make a new folder instantly with a keyboard shortcut instead of right-clicking through menus. In Windows 7, press Ctrl+Shift+N to drop a fresh folder wherever you are — on the desktop, in Windows Explorer, or even inside a file browse/upload dialog — then just start typing the name.
