Whistle Blower Protection? Will It Really Protect You? Why People Don't Do It

I try and give advice to someone who may consider blowing the whistle on Gov waste, Cops, Crooked Lawyers or going against the system.  Bottom line is if you go against the established power, they people around the power will come together and the system will try and make an example out of you so NO ONE else will think of going against them. It is a process that worked over the test of time.

No matter how much evidence you have, no matter how clear you think it is, the Gov will have free Attoneys to fight you, if you win they will appeal and force you to continue to spend money to fight and over time they know you will either give up or run out of money.  Since the Gov Officials that are crooked, they know they will be protected since they are part of the system and the system will ALWAYS protect the system.

IMO wistleblower protection is joke.  The charges are never investigated, the person who make the complaint becomes the focus of any investigation so they confuse, prolong, out spend, appeal and burn tax payer money to protect the system.

There are some things you can do to protect yourself, but the Gov will always have more time, money, people and resources to out do you. And if you win, you will still lose in the long run and that is what the Gov wants.  That way more people will NOT do it and the corruption can continue and the same people with power will stay in power.
