Top UN official pushes for resumption of G5 Sahel operations

The United Nations peacekeeping chief is pushing for the G5 Sahel counter-terrorism force to resume operations, after they were suspended in the wake of deadly attacks on its headquarters in Sevae back in June. Addressing the Security Council, Jean-Pierre Lacroix said it is imperative that operations get back on track. He also called for more support from the international community.
