Devaara Thiruthalam is a show on Peppers TV that features Shiva temples that have been mentioned in the Thirumurai, ancient Tamil poetry written by the Shaivite Saints. The history of the Periya Puranam says that the man who was responsible for it, Sekkhizhar - Arun Mozhi Thevar as he was called before he became Sekkizhar - wrote about all the Nayanmars who sang the praises of Lord Shiva and were responsible for the revival of Saivism in Tamil Nadu.
