For a small town, the Danba Market is crowded, noisy and interesting.  The Gyarong ("Jaw-Row") people make their way through dressed in colorful clothing with one black braid across the top of their heads.. They carry goods in straw baskets on backs, browse traditional shops, .carrying a cell phone, of course.
