Queens Farm with Kennon Kay, Agriculture Director and a tour of the farm 2012

On this second day of Summer, 2012, I visited the Queens Farm Museum and was fortunate enough to have a nice chat with Kennon Kay, Agriculture Director of the farm. She and her crew were tirelessly weeding and maintaining the big vegetable patch. She spends long hours making sure the different plants are alive and well. Not knowing much of gardening and farming, I am gratified to be living near the farm and can come as often as I want to learn more about growing vegetables and just to enjoy the walk. A thunder storm broke out as I was leaving so no more heat wave tomorrow.
