An animal rescue team tried to help this seemingly stranded moggy - only for it to climb down of its own accord before scaling an adjacent pylon.
 
Appearing to be perched precariously on the peak of a 30ft tree, it's no surprise that concerned neighbours thought the pussycat was stuck.
 
As rescuers from S.M.A.R.T - Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team - scaled the branches in San Pedro, California, USA, the black cat seems unmoved.
