LG Autonomy: NLC Calls For The Support of the State Governments

The Nigeria Labour Congress want the 36 State Houses of Assembly to be on the same page with the National Assembly by giving their support to qualify the local government autonomy bill to become law. The President of Congress, Ayuba Wabba who made the call while briefing journalists in abuja said the amendments have to go to the 36 State Houses of Assembly for their concurrence. Similarly, the Union is calling on all the Governors of the 36 States to sheathe partisan or insular consideration and support these amendments in the national interest.
