The ASP World Championship Tour's European event, the Quiksilver Pro France, came to an end today with an epic final between Kelly Slater (USA) and Dane Reynolds (USA) as they battled out the last heat of competition in ideal conditions at La Graviere. The two Quiksilver riders gathered fans from all over, lined up on the shore to watch a jaw-dropping American finish between arguably the best competitor vs best freesurfer on the planet. It was Slater who left victorious, finding the waves he needed to get the scores and celebrate his first Quiksilver Pro France win, with Reynolds in second, and John John Florence (HAW) sharing third place with Joel Parkinson (AUS).
