Lindsay Lohan did an interview with Matt Lauer on The Today Show to talk about her sobriety, her career, and her hosting gig on SNL this weekend.

The 25 year old Mean Girls said her personal decisions have affected her career.

Lindsay Lohan said, "I like being on set. I like making films. I like doing this kind of stuff and having positive things to talk about and I kind of lost sight of that."

Lindsay said she's made a lot of changes recently to get her life back on track, including switching up the people she hangs out with, and even admitted that she probably shouldn't of gone out to party as often as she did. 

She explained that the last time she did go out, it just wasn't fun, and she's definitely more of a home-body now.

Lindsay also confirmed to Matt that she is in fact, clean and sober, but couldn't give a definitive answer when he asked for how long... she only said, "It's been a while, it's been a long time."

Now, as for her career as an actress, Lindsay spoke frankly and said it's probably going to take some time to get back into the good graces of Hollywood directors and producers, saying quote, "I still need to go through that process of proving myself, like with SNL, being on time, keeping my stuff together."
