Ken and Lisa Friedl are frustrated with Obamacare.The Franklin couple are among thousands in Tennessee that recently learned their existing insurance policy is no longer allowed under the Affordable Healthcare Act.Ken is self employed and for years it's made financial sense for his two children with diabetes to use the State run Cover Kids plan.The Friedl's version of Cover Kids doesn't meet Obamacare requirements and the same is true for some people on Tennessee run Cover RX, Access TN and everyone on Cover TN. It's just a nightmare, said Ken Friedl.For weeks the couple have been trying unsuccessfully to log on to the federal government's Healthcare.gov website to try to find a new plan.Stories like their lead the U.S. House to pass a bill allowing insurers to continue offering plans that aren't allowed under Obamacare for existing and new customers.They do not want the President's Health Care Law.  They do not like the President's Health Care law, said Tennessee Congressman Marsha Blackburn.President Obama himself proposed a year extension for existing plans only Thursday but it's unclear if that will keep Cover Tennessee and its affiliate plans open.That decision will rest with the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.Some say people like the Friedl's are better off ditching their current plan anyway.Michele Johnson with the health care advocacy group the Tennessee Justice Center says there will be much better deals on healthcare.gov than the plans about to be outlawed by Obamacare. The plans are cheap but they have huge deductibles but when someone gets sick they provide them no stability.Still the problems Ken and Lisa Friedl have had with the website lead them skeptical.If this thing is messed up because of a website who knows what it's gonna be for prescriptions, things like that.  they have to have it and that's concerning, said Ken Friedl.
