DJing has taught me winning takes a willingness to lose. Harmonize with losing for it's a part of the experience of winning. I'm not saying enjoy it. I'm saying respect it because it makes you better. I'm speaking from experience. I placed 3rd in my first battle (1991 DMC). Then I got bounced out of the 2nd round in my second competition (1991 New Music Seminar). Only to lose in the 1st round of my third attempt (1992 New Music Seminar). God bless all of those experiences because they all inspired me to come up with routines like "Nobody Beats The Biz". Respect Mike Nyce.
