Gun violence is something young Chicagoans unfortunately know too well—almost half of all murder victims in Chicago last year were between the ages of 10 and 25. Recognizing these and other challenges to youths around the world, local hip hop artist Jessica Disu, a.k.a. FM Supreme; this year's Chicago Council Koldyke Fellow Kiran Bir Sethi; and documentary filmmaker Jeff McCarter joined The Chicago Council on February 13, 2014, for an evening of music, film, and discussion moderated by University of Chicago Crime Lab Executive Director Roseanna Ander.
