Kentucky bill allows guns in bars

COVINGTON, Ky. (Angela Ingram) -- You may soon be allowed to carry a gun into a bar in Kentucky.A state Senate committee passed a bill Tuesday that would allow gun owners with concealed carry permits to bring their loaded weapons into bars as long as they're not drinking.  The bill also would speed up concealed carry permits.  Current Kentucky law allows people to drink alcohol and carry a firearm in a restaurant but not a bar.  Ohio began allowing guns in bars in 2011.
