Ｓｔｏｒｙ： [Tʜᴇ sᴏɴɢ ᴘʀᴇᴛᴛʏ ᴍᴜᴄʜ ɪɴғʟᴜᴇɴᴄᴇs ᴛʜᴇ sᴛᴏʀʏ ᴡɪᴛʜ ɪᴛ·s ʟʏʀɪᴄs] Forced to comply with the current circumstances as a child, Eren decides to join the squad when he became of age where he meets a blonde girl named Annie. His determined dream of exterminating the Titans earned the attention of the whole team, especially her. During a disastrous mission, it was Annie who found Eren under the boulders and she felt shaken up seeing Eren bleeding like that, reminding her of those she has lost who also promised hope and how a human's life can be easily taken away. During their training, they got teamed up together and tried to get her to talk. She asks if he has ever had to kill somebody and he reluctantly revealed a memory of the past where he had to commit murder to protect someone else. Annie believes humans are just beings of darkness who only kill because they enjoy it, remembering amemory of how they slaughtered her family without mercy in this godless world. She fights him and shows him there is no hope for the weak. Eren, knowing the pain and hatred that she carries around, tried to get closer to her and wishes she'd see the world the way he does. His determination is still quite strong, but promises are not enough. As Eren acquired his new hidden powers, he's so lost on how to control it and Annie stood by him to get him through, unknowing of the secrets lying beneath. Eren, who got so mad that Annie joined the police force, walks away from her and any feelings Annie has for him, she had to let it go. Later, Eren gets hold of the revelation that the female titan is none other than Annie and that all evidence point to her. He didn't want to believe that she was a killer and a traitor because despite her darkness, she has a very caring side to her but slowly he started realizing that himself. Annie is conflicted between being stuck in the past with feelings of revenge and the future of hope that Eren has promised but her heart is already consumed in hatred and her hands are already soaked in blood. The team confronts Annie telling her there is still a chance to mend all her mistakes and come to their side but Annie already knows she's in far too deep. Eren gets angry and yells if she has ever loved him, truly loved him. During all this time, has she ever been sincere with him. He didn't want to believe Annie is only made of ice and didn't have a shroud of care in her. Annie inner walls breaks, because she truly loves him and those times they had together was not fake and that she sacrificed her happiness with Eren because she feels she doesn't deserve it. After her attempt of running away failed, Eren had the chance to finish her but seeing those sincere tears on her serene face made his heart clench and couldn't do it. In the end, she surrounded herself with icy crystal showing her heart is still a distant away, keeping her true feelings with her. Eren still dreams of her..of his Annie. ___________ Ｎｏｔｅ： Annie's POV: Along the way, they formed a relationship and Annie has fallen in love with Eren, him being the only one who has made her smile in a long time. She allowed herself to be by his side and help him with his Titan powers since she too has them, thinking maybe Eren can help stopping her. During the mission where she killed hundreds, she wanted to take Eren with her. Despite her outer cold exterior, she has been drowning in regrets as she falls deeper into darkness and away from Eren. The true secrets of the reason behind her actions might never be revealed but one thing for sure, Eren has touched her but it wasn't enough. If only she had met him few years back.
