Lots of times Natsume feels disappointed with him and Rin doesn't know how to make things right. Eventually Rin looses his temper and yells at the only person who really cares for him and pushes her away. Rin went through a lot after loosing his father and becoming a demon and amidst of his despair, the only person who came to mind is Natsume. She didn't even pick up her phone because she was already there for him. Rin is shocked to see Natsume after all he has made her go through. Unseen: Natsume runs into Rin's arms, never letting him go even if he has turned into a demon because the bond they have is stronger than anything else.
