It's autumn and not too late to get in some sunshine! Vitamin D comes from exposure to sunlight, not from food intake. So the sunshine you get now will help you later while there's less sunshine in the winter. As well, adequate exposure to sunshine helps prevent or minimize Seasonal affective disorder, or SAD, that feeling of the "the winter blues" that many of us experience during the dark months of winter.
