Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived on Tuesday in Portugal for a two-day state visit. He was welcomed with a formal ceremony in Lisbon by his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. This is the first visit by a Chinese head of state to the country in eight years, and it aims to expand cooperation between China and Portugal.
